The Brick Bulldogs are headed to the Mid-Atlantic Regionals following a win over the Marlton Reds Friday at the Cal Ripken 11-year-old 50/70 state championship.
Teams from Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, & Maryland will be competing in the Regional Tournament, which will be held Friday at Basking Ridge, according to John Fuehrer, one of the Brick Bulldogs Coaches. The three other coaches are Manager Ray Mannon, Pitching Coach Gene "Suicide Squeeze" Carafa, and Jeff Thompson.
According to a report from the Burlington County Times, the Bulldogs overcame the Marlton Reds’ run at the Cal Ripken 11-year-old 50/70 state championship by one game.
