UPDATE: Foodtown Redevelopment No Longer on Council Agenda; Cooler Weather; Night Out Against Crime Today

The Annual Night Out Against Crime and Kid's Day Celebration will feature police exhibits, demonstrations, games, the Police Camp Graduation.

It promises to be a busy day in the township today.

Weather:
There is at least a slight chance of showers on Tuesday with storms likely developing after 2 p.m. with a high near 76.

Showers could continue into the night with a low around 65 and could run into Wednesday when the temperature returns to around 81 during the day. Any accumulation during this time is expected to be minimal except during some stronger thunderstorms that could roll through our area.

Things to do:
Tonight, the Council will meet at 7 p.m.. Although an ongoing redevelopment project planned for the old Foodtown property on Route 70 was expected to be discussed, the item has been removed from the agenda.

Also tonight, the Annual Night Out Against Crime and Kid’s Day Celebration will feature police exhibits, demonstrations, games, the Police Camp Graduation and more.

The event will be held at Windward Beach Park, Princeton Avenue on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.
