That is terrible..she obviously was given incorrect advise..wetlands at that time meant that perhaps the full property could not be built upon without permitting from the State and governments along with local permitting. It wasn't until themmid 90s that stringent Cafra laws were passed and beyond to protect the watershed in Nj .. When buying any property that has any potential of being wetlands or backing up to for that matter, an attorney familiar with riparian and land use laws should be consulted. My empathy and sympathy to you and your friend that has passed on.. I'm sure she's in a better place. -

ReplyMore "nanny state" decisions which will hurt an already devastated economy..ridiculous..enforce the laws in place and allow business to make money and stimulate this economy..personal responsibility and accountability..stop pointing the finger and start looking toward the future....absurd.. Let's change the time church bells ring too as that might be disturbing to someone ..can't fathom but I guess I must..just saying

Thoughts and prayer to all and their respective families... Loss of any young life is horrible..perhaps a lesson learned is the only positive which could possibly be found in this sad tale....my deepest sympathy.. There are no other words.
