ReplyForge pond area....just heard a few explosion type sounds and then power went out. Wind looks like its picking up some, big branches coming down from the weight of snow. Very scary.

Heartbreaking. There was not enough support through this for people who did not suffer a loss or damage of home, but were just without power. Being without power in these temps at night is just as dangerous as flooding, fires, etc. Oftentimes people seemed to say that you were lucky to "only" be without power considering some people were in far worse conditions, but 30 degree temps are deadly. Thoughts are with the families.
