ReplyIn reality, even though it sounds harsh...things at some point must be returned to normal. I know that things will not be normal for Sandy victims for a long time to come, but this building has a purpose and it has to return to normal operations at some point....and whenever they chose to do so, whether it is now or in a few months, people would have a problem with it. I don't particularly side with their decision, but I dont really think they should be the target of hatred for wanting to reclaim their space.

There is no way they can keep this service going there long enough to please everyone. People will be out of their homes and trying to recover for a long time to come...and whenever they decided to stop allowing this service to go on there, people would be upset. I think there must be some other local venue with room for people to sit down and have their meal. There are abandoned, empty buildings all over town..the old Dennys, the old WOW. Maybe some owner of a vacant building could step in and open it up to the community for a period of time.
