Darren DeBari, Neighbor

Darren DeBari is an award winning screenwriter along with co-writer Greg Wilson for 2001's The Human Equation. In 2002 he wrote and directed the dark comedy The College Murders which was shot in New Jersey. In 2008 he co-wrote and acted in the Independent film The Secret. Other independent film acting credits include 2001's Lying Beside You and 2005's Dark Fantasy. DeBari also directed John Morrison's play Divine Right in Ocean Grove in 2015. DeBari also wrote the play The Destruction of the American Male which was produced by La Strada Ensemble Theater at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in 2018. From Fall 2005 to 2011 he had taught Independent Filmmaking for Ocean County College. He had also taught Acting for Film there from 2009 to 2011. DeBari has also been a camera man for the Meadowlands Sports Complex and Freehold Raceway for a number of years. DeBari had also filmed, edited and appeared in Jazz Musician and Chef Lou Pompilio's cooking show La Canzona Cucina on Youtube. He continues to write, direct, act and edit short films and reviews restaurants with his wife.
