Hi Nancy..first, I am so sorry for your loss. There is nothing worse than losing a loved one unexpectedly at such an early age. My heart goes out to you and your family. I unfortunately am not at all familiar with where that accident took place. I can tell you that I know how unsettling it is to not know how something like that can happen. I lost a very good friend 8 years ago in south Jersey who took a normal turn at a normal speed next to another friend and somehow, for unknown reasons, he went off the road and he too did not make it. For a long time we all tried to figure out the events of that day, the fact that he was a diabetic, the road conditions, the curve, the grade of the road, and so on and so on, and just could never find a justification. He too a 25 yr veteran rider. I am personally not religious, but I had to find comfort in that for some reason he needed to be somewhere else, either for his benefit or the benefit of another. The questions will always linger, but what matters is that we remember the good times and the love that we had, and know that he would want you to carry on in life happy and not in sorrow. We all know that what we love to do is a danger to ourselves, but we love it so much that we are willing to make that sacrifice. I hope that you will find peace in his love for his riding, and his love for you and your family. As to the comments, I just feel the need to call out a person for blatant ignorance when necessary. RIP Ron..
