Mustang Classic: Howell's Kris Lindemann A Winner
Early season wrestling tournament held at Brick Memorial High School
Isiah DeGuzman of Timber Creek was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the Mustang Classic tournament after defeating Conner Burkert of St. Peter's Prep, 4-1, in the final at 132 pounds. Earlier he had defeated Ocean's Zack Hertling who was third in the state last year. Also winning his finals match at 126 pounds was Kris Lindemann of Howell. He pinned Sonny Simonetti of St. Peter's Prep in the third period. Lindemann, who was not seeded, is a freshman.
