Looking to Donate in Ocean County? A List To Help After Hurricane Sandy

Donations, sorters needed

Folks looking to lend a hand or drop off much-needed items have a list of places to go to help out in Ocean County. Hurricane Sandy has devastated much of the area and non-perishable food, toiletries, baby items, clothing and more are being donated. Where can you drop off items you'd like to donate? The Ocean County Sheriff's Office released the following list. Toms River Office of Emergency Management Paul Daley advised donors to not drop off items at evacuation shelters directly. Instead use the list of donation centers so volunteers there can process items. In many cases, volunteers are welcome at the donation centers. A main task is to help sort. Call to confirm.
