Brick Police Seize Drugs, Stun Gun; Three Residents Charged
Two month investigation led to arrest; 400 pain pills, assorted drugs and a stun gun seized
A two month-long investigation by the Brick Township Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit culminated in the arrest of three township residents after a search warrant yielded quantities of several illicit drugs, including 400 prescription pain pills, police said. Police searched the home at 735 Old Burnt Tavern Road Feb. 20, said Sgt. Henry J. Drew. "The investigation focused on the distribution of prescription painkillers that was occurring in Brick Township," said Drew, in a statement. The search yielded 400 "assorted pills" which included oxycodone, Soma, morphine, Methadone and suboxone, Drew said.
