Brick police have arrested three New York residents who they say participated in a plan to fraudulently obtain a Best Buy store credit card to purchase items they intended to bring back to their home state. Officer Charles Kelly arrested Diana Hosten, 28, of Brooklyn, on Feb. 16 after loss prevention personnel at the store contacted police and told them the same woman had been identified earlier in the day after fraudulently obtaining a credit card at the electronic retailer's Howell location and purchasing items there, Sgt. Keith Reinhard said. Kelly investigated and spoke with store employees and Hosten before making the arrest.
