Red Lion Liquor License Transferred to Chain

Joe's Crab Shack will move into Brick Plaza

The liquor license held by the former Red Lion Inn on Drum Point Road has now been transferred to Crab Addison, Inc., which will utilize it in the operation of a chain seafood restaurant planned for Brick Plaza. In September, the township planning board approved an application by Joe's Crab Shack to construct a new restaurant in the shopping complex. The 8,600 square foot restaurant will be located where the former FedEx-Kinko's store was located in the rear of the plaza in a stand-alone building, said Township Planner Mike Fowler at the time. The building that formerly housed FedEx-Kinko's will be demolished, Fowler said. The restaurant will feature, in addition to its indoor dining room, an outdoor "pirate ship" themed play area for kids…

I agree. I didn't like it as soon as I walked into it. The noise was deafening. Should have turned around and walked right out. All of those chains, Oil & Lube, Buffalo wild wings and Joe's crab shack are way too loud and the food only just so so, however, Oil & Lube does have a wonderful burger.. but get it to go.   more ›

New Restaurant Approved for Brick Plaza

Joe's Crab Shack set to open in Brick

The township planning board has approved an application by Joe's Crab Shack to open a restaurant in Brick Plaza. The application was approved last week. The 8,600 square foot restaurant will be located where the former FedEx-Kinko's store was located in the rear of the plaza in a stand-alone building, said Township Planner Mike Fowler. The building that formerly housed FedEx-Kinko's will be demolished, Fowler said. The restaurant will be similar to the Joe's Crab Shack location near the Monmouth Mall, said Fowler. The restaurant will feature, in addition to its indoor dining room, an outdoor "pirate ship" themed play area for kids. "They have them in most of their restaurants," said Fowler. The restaurant will be about 2,000 square feet …

More head shops opening up. Lets close down the adult bookstore across from the Kindergarten building first before we revel in more chain restaurants with their frozen prepared foods arriving here.   more ›
