State Police Investigating Late-Night Parkway Crash
Driver transported to hospital after overturning on Garden State Parkway
A motor vehicle accident which occurred on the Garden State Parkway in Brick Township last night remains under investigation, according to a representative from the New Jersey State Police. Sgt. Adam Grossman explained that at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday evening, a woman driving a black SUV lost control of her vehicle near milepost 93.4 on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway, and went off the road. Authorities who responded to the scene successfully freed the driver, who was pinned in the overturned vehicle. "The female (driver) was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries," said Grossman. The sergeant added that the crash remains under investigation at this time.
