Two Sought by Police in Herbertsville Arson
Two vehicles burned, police say
Police are investigating a vehicle arson in the township's Herbertsville section. According to Brick Police Sgt. Keith Reinhard, a resident of Maidenstone Drive reported to police that in the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 7 he heard a loud bang outside of his residence. When he went outside, the resident found his two vehicles, which were parked in his driveway, on fire. The Herbertsville Fire Company put out the blaze, and police also responded to the scene. No one was injured, Reinhard said. Police were able to obtain video surveillance from a neighbor which, according to Reinhard, revealed two subjects exiting a light colored four door vehicle.
