The school's colors, green and gold, reflect Brick's official color (Green) with gold serving to differentiate Memorial high school from Brick Township High School, whose colors are green and white.

Brick Township's original high school once served as a regional school, educating students from nearby towns includingMore Point Pleasant. As the area grew, neighboring communities built their own schools and Brick Memorial High School was built across town to accommodate growth within the township. The long-time home of New Jersey's all-time "winning-est" football coach, Warren Wolf, the school serves Brick's high school students, primarily from the southern portion of the town.
