She's crazier than he is....they deserve each other. They'll find her dead some day.
Mel Sharples April 1, 2014 at 07:56 am
Oh, come now. Wait a few months. The Ravens - a corporation largely dependent on the survival andRead More acquittal of Ray Rice - will commission an "independent" investigation to find out what really happened. And the final report will show, shockingly, that Ray did nothing wrong. That he was somehow the victim or that there were circumstances beyond his control. And if that sham worked for Christie, why won't it work for Ray?

Its crazy Eagles get such a bag rep for cutting Jackson but not one cares about the Ravens keepingRead More this guy!

Troll Saint, that is not true. Ive played for him, and played with many guys and woman who haveRead More played for him. With the exception of a few, are all fine and went to great school and got great jobs. Andy Pat, I did not know that. Sorry. IF that did happen, At least the rink would be in good hands. They are good people, even if you dont think Mr. Acropolis ran the town right.

@Brickresident. I'm saying when i went there, they were scum and many of the kids turned out to beRead More drug addict deadbeats with criminal records. I'm being objective, you are not, which is understandable. As for Mr. Auriemma, i said he was a nice man and good teacher. My gripe with him though is that he recruited players from other towns for the majority of his coaching career. That's a fact and there's proof of it. Considering its a public school, its illegal. When they finally got caught recruiting in the early 2000's the program took a hit. Brick hockey was a cancer and families wisely avoided it. That being said most of these wins should be contested.
Brickresident February 6, 2014 at 02:05 pm
I only know of one person who is pretty much a deadbeat that came out of that hockey program. HesRead More been on patch a few times. anyways, Yes, he did alot of recruiting. I was actually one of them to be asked to come over, but i opted not too, good thing bc it was the same year crap hit the fan. Illegal sure, but it sure is pretty sweet to play with a bunch of guys who know and play the game so well. I graduated in 01, those 4 years were some of the best playing with guys from Brick HS. I only got to play with those guys for Brick hockey club. I just cant see it being 100% true that alot of hockey players came out of that school as deadbeats. BUt I didnt go there, would have been nice. I do understand where you coming from. Where i went catholic schools recuited. So that isnt much better then what they did.

Actually, it was the fault of the NFL that resulted in the long wait at the train station. ThereRead More were ridiculous rules and restrictions on parking.

"Impeach Christie..."
paul smith February 5, 2014 at 05:22 pm
While the NFl has some culpability, and most of the rail tickets were bought on gameday, NJT blewRead More it. No buses until an hour after the game? Ridiculous. You have Lombardi and No Bergen park and rides where buses could have been stacked as a contingency. There was no contingency. Didnt NJT imagine some folks may leave early?
S_O_G February 2, 2014 at 06:11 pm
It is fine. My only complaint is that they took my double decker trains for the super bowl and IRead More had to be crowded all week in the regular cars. I think NJT runs great most of the time, and not sure where people think they can get a better deal then less than $10/day round trip ($250, probably 125 on pre tax dollars, and 22 work days in a month). Take a car service if you do not like it

Don't know where S_O_G pays his fare, but 1) the roundtrip fare to Manhattan from Summit is $19.50Read More per day; 2) the monthly cost is $273; and 3) Congress effective Jan. 1 lowered the monthly commuter tax benefit to $130 from $245 (while raising the parking benefit to $250 per month from $245).
ShoreThing December 31, 2013 at 09:42 am
Will we lose garbage pick up to pay for the nets? Or just increase taxes again?
ShoreThing December 31, 2013 at 09:43 am
Nerney: don't you have money in your treasury? Buy your own Nets!
thomas nerney January 1, 2014 at 01:31 pm
not enough as far as I know we are the only youth organization in town that is paying off a mortgageRead More on an indoor training center for the kids with no help from the town thank god we only have 2 years to go on the 245k loan.. thank god for all volunteers who have worked to help pay it off Nerney

And the Marching Dragons had to cut their show short because the football team walked back on theRead More field. Sure, they make the players hold hands to promote teamwork, but treat the band like 2nd class citizens. Pathetic!

"mybackhurts" and "joseph" are a CANCER that has been killing the true Pride andRead More Tradition of Brick. Everyone hates CANCER!!

joseph October 5, 2013 at 08:36 pm
Brick Parent- Are you kidding me? This coaching staff and administration should be running into theRead More dark if the taxpayer from TR wins his claim against us. You are kidding yourself and trying to kid us, we are not bying it. Would be damaging to our tradition and pride if we forfit all games just for the sake of winning. We could have been honest and played and with our own kids.

Congratulations to Shawna especially because she won the race over the tracks cheater. It is commonRead More knowledge that the Blewett’s cheat, and don’t get inspected like the other racers. Another point is how do you have a metal scrap yard without a certified scale? Can’t even buy lunch meat on a non-certified scale can you.
Joseph Fekete September 16, 2013 at 06:30 pm
WTG Shawna !!! You ran a great race ! You've got a really good team supporting you,and....youRead More deserved it !!!
