Laurelton Fire Company was founded in 1930, with its first fire house having been built in 1934 at its present location on Route 88. The company's vintage "Smoke Eater" fire truck from the late 1930s is still on display at the fire house. Laurelton maintains two additional stations, one on Van Zile Road and another on Jordan Road at Midstreams Road.
