Year later, neighbor unfortunately picked up subs for the Wild Card game, told me he was sick when he saw the staff making subs without plastic gloves. Needless to say, I took the 5 minute drive to WaWA and got the best subs in Brick, without worrying what the staffs hands at Jersey Mikes touched before they handled all that food. Note to Jersey Mikes: For whatever reason your staff feels they do not need to cover their hands when preparing food, it's eventually going to hurt your company as word is spreading to avoid your shop.

Everytime I've been there it's been a pleasure. Got the phone number onmy cell to call in and save time. I'm glad they support Komen for a Cure. They are original. I grew up riding my bike to their original store on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant. Their franchise model is excellent and their staff are consistently polite, well groomed and always making sure if "you got everything you need". Costs may be a tad pricy, but their bread is always fresh and in this day and age you get what you pay for. Mike SUbs is always a treat form me and my wife after doing heavy yard work. Their subs go great with ice cold beer too.
I like Jersey Mike's but decided to stop going as long as they supported the Komen foundation. Emai'd their head quarters to let them know. Got an evasive answer from them about if they will continue to be affliated with Komen.
Walked in to order two Italian subs, the kid making the subs was using his BARE HANDS!!! Touching the meat, lettuce, tomatoes, it was absolutely disgusting, would NEVER go back their. WAWA subs from now on, even WAWA knows plastic gloves are MUST!!!!
This is the best sub shop in Brick! They give you lots of meat and they offer wheat rolls, as well as the regular Italian rolls for their sandwiches. They are always friendly and helpful when we come in. Plus, we have a discount card we got from the BTHS Football team that gives us a free soda and chips whenever we buy a sandwich.
