Excellent! I was worried at first, because I searched for reviews, and couldn't find any. His prices were the best, so I took a chance. Other than actually getting a root canal, it was a great experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Millward was extremely competent. He took his time, and did it right. I had problems getting numb, and he was extremely patient. Once numb, there was no pain. The next day the only pain I had was slight soreness in my jaw from all the novocaine he gave me. It's been 4 days, and I can't believe how everyone complains about the pain of a root canal. Usually, my experience with a professional is mixed... There is always a 'But..", but with Dr. Millward, there was nothing but perfection. He thought there was a chance I might not need a root canal, and did his best to save me from it. I was expecting a dentist to just look at a chart or something, and blindly do what it said. Even his bedside manners were great, being friendly without being phony. If I have any complaint about him or his office, it's that he's a specialist, and I can't go to him for all my dental needs. If I finally find a competent regular dentist, I suspect I may never see Dr. Millward again. However, if any friends or family members ever ask me who to go to for endodontic work, I know exactly where to send them.
