Brick Memorial High School opened its doors to students in 1980 to acommodate the growing student population that had outgrown Brick Township High School, located on the opposite side of town. The school's colors, green and gold, reflect Brick's official color (Green) with gold serving to differentiate Memorial high school from Brick Township High School, whose colors are green and white.
