Better Weather Today Leads to A Beauty This Weekend

The weather is looking better for today, after yesterday's showers, and today will be just the start of what is predicted to be a beautiful summer weekend!

Today's forecast calls for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. North wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%, according to the National Weather Service.

Things to do:
On Saturday, head out to the VFW Post on Adamston Road and help restore the Brick American Legion Post.
A benefit to help restore Sandy-damaged American Legion Post 348, will be held from 12 to 6 p.m., Aug. 24th on the grounds of the VFW Post on Adamston Road in Brick. The event will be $20/personand includes 2 beverage tickets (children up to 11 free, ages 11-21 $5.00).
Merchandise and food vendors, live bands, DJ, pony rides, face painting and raffle chances for over 100 baskets including travel packages, fishing and golf outings and more! Tickets avail. at the AL Post at 822 Mantoloking Road or at the event.
