Brick Chamber Awards Culinary Arts Scholarship

Scholarship given on behalf of Carrabba's Italian Grill on Cedar Bridge Avenue

The Brick Township Chamber Of Commerce's Educational Foundation gave a special scholarship award this year for a student who is pursuing a career in the culinary arts. The award was made on behalf of Carrabba's Italian Grill on Cedar Bridge Avenue, a long-standing supporter of the Chamber's scholarship program, according to a statement. Marijean Reyes was the recipient.

In all, the Chamber has awarded 10 scholarships this year for $1,000 each.

"Education can change lives in a positive and meaningful way and they want play a part in doing that," said Executive Director Michele Eventoff, of why local businesses have supported the scholarship program.
