Pro Wrestling Event in Brick to Feature Former WWE Star

Former WWE star Carlito headlines April 30 professional wrestling show.

From headlocks to high flyers, the National Wrestling Superstars promotion will return to the Brick Elks Lodge on Saturday, April 30, for another action packed show.

“The fans can expect plenty of surprises, and plenty of hard hitting action,” said Johnny Falco, owner of NWS. “There is something for everybody at a NWS show, it is not geared toward one element, or one type of fan."

Headlining the event will be former WWE wrestler the “Cool Talking, Apple Spitting” Carlito for a rare Jersey Shore performance. Carlito is a second generation wrestler who has grown up in the business.

“If his reputation proceeds him we are looking forward to having him here, he is a first rate in-ring performer,” said Falco.

While some will come to see the headline attractions, most will come because April 30 is being billed as “A Night Where All Grudges Will Be Settled.”  A number of the up and coming talent which NWS is built upon will be settling their feuds in a series of matches including Judas Young versus Ray Ray Marz in a lumberjack match for the first time in NWS.

“We gear toward a very casual, fan friendly, family type of show,” said Falco.

Hoping to piggy back off of a nearly-sold-out crowd in Brick a few months back, Falco expects another solid turnout despite the harsh economy.

“The Brick area has always done well by the wrestling promotion, they seem to always support the product, they are very loyal and we always have a good turnout there,” said Falco.

The show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at $21 for adults and $19 for kids and seniors, and can be purchased from the NWS Box Office by calling 732-888-1704.

Falco strongly encourages fans to get their tickets early because they don’t want to have to turn away any potential spectators should the event sell out.
