The Brick Mustangs are sending all three of their cheer/dance teams to a national competition in Florida next month, advancing from the Big East competition last week.
The Big East competition included a first place win in the dance division, for the first Mustang team to ever compete in the dance division. They were also the only team to compete in both the cheer and dance divisions, reports Mary Ellen Ryder, a parent involved in the program.
Ryder shared these pictures of the teams as they celebrate their wins and prepare for the weeks ahead. In one photo, the girls celebrate with their first place trophy, while in the other photo the dancers are in full performance outfits .
