Warren Wolf Honored at Football Game

Field at BTHS dedicated to legendary former head coach

The football field at Brick Township High School was rededicated to legendary, former head coach Warren Wolf before between Brick Memorial and Brick Township high schools.

Wolf, the winningest coach in New Jersey high school football history, retired after the 2008 football season, but coached in Lakewood in 2010 before announcing he was , from coaching.

Before his retirement, Wolf was the only head coach the Dragons ever had. He was replaced by , who served for two years before being replaced this season by , who played for Wolf.

The high school's football field was originally dedicated to Wolf in 1982, but there were no markings at the field formally recognizing the former coach. A new sign outside of the high school, donated by the Brick Township Green Dragons Football Club, was also dedicated to Wolf.
