Vets Middle School Students Take 3rd Place at OCC Canoe Race

Veterans Memorial Middles School Students took third place overall in Ocean County College's annual Cardboard Canoe Race. 

The annual event at the college, which consists of students racing canoes they design and build out of cardboard, duct tape and other basic materials, is part of Ocean County College's Tech Prep program.

The program is designed to promote problem solving and teamwork skills among the county's youth.

Great job !!! Two of the best inventions of all time, cardboard and duct tape! Now may I borrow your canoe for a day? (LOL) Kidding aside, Keep up the good work and congratulations!
