Patch has listed the top 20 schools listed on U.S. News and World Report's rankings of the top high schools in the nation. The rankings include data on more than 19,400 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

No Ocean County schools appeared in the top rankings on the list.

Yes@WMS826 You did see Elizabeth H.S. on the list! The reason is years ago they broke up this school and made 8 separate high schools, each with it's own set of administrators! The high school with the higher functioning students in the district kept the name Elizabeth H.S.. The other schools on this list are either academies, magnet schools or technology schools and they can be selective with their admission process! The remaining schools on the list are from wealthy socio-economic areas(where parents can afford tutoring and other resources).

I would like to see a comparison in pay rolls to all above against Bricktowns ..Bet we would win that contest ..

@J. Jones All teachers salaries are public knowledge. Brick falls into the average range. Take a look into the supervisory positions and you may see a difference.
