Drive Defensively Workshop at Kimball's Center for Healthy Living

The Center for Healthy Living at Kimball Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will host a workshop to teach drivers about defensive driving techniques so they can better-maneuver the roads.

The course is offered by the Ocean County Department of Safety through the National Safety Council, the premier provider of defensive driver training in the U.S. Participants will receive the knowledge, skills and perspective necessary to prevent injuries and save lives. Completion of this workshop will eliminate two points from a participant’s NJ State driver’s record.

Each eight-hour course will be held at The Center for Healthy Living at 198 Prospect St. in Lakewood from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with a lunch break) on the following dates:

The fee for the basic defensive driving course is $8, with a check or money order made payable to County of Ocean. For point reduction, an additional $10 money order is required, made payable to the NJ State Safety Council.
