Dangerous Curves Ahead

To navigate the dangerous curves facing adults with the responsibility of caring for an elderly parent or relative, Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) www.caregivervolunteers.org is offering a FREE seminar on Wednesday, March 21st at 6:30 PM.  Presentations will be made by experts in the field of elder law, financial planning, and nonprofit social services. Topics will include how to qualify for tax breaks if you provide care for an elderly relative, how to protect your relative’s assets before it is too late and information about area nonprofits which offer services to ease a family’s burden. The program will be at the House of Hope, 253 Chestnut St. Toms River.  Light refreshments will be served.  Seating is limited and reservations are required by March 15th to Lynette Whiteman at lynettew@caregivervolunteers.org  or call 732-505-2273.
