The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation also celebrated a milestone in their giving, as this year they exceeded $120,000 in scholarships awarded since the establishment of the scholarship awards program.

The evening’s Master of Ceremonies, Richard Lau, a past president of the foundation and an award donor for many years, noted that the Foundation has several ways they raise the money for these awards: from the proceeds of their annual Dream Dollars raffle, which is currently underway, with the winner of $10,000 being drawn on Sept. 24th; with additions to the artwork, a Tree of Learning, which adorns the central hallway in the municipal building; donations to honor or memorialize those special people in one’s life and of course through the donation of funds for career specific awards, which were highlighted during the evening’s celebration.

For additional information about the Foundation, please call the Brick Township Chamber of Commerce at 732.477.494 or visit them at www.brickchamber.com.
