Brick BOE Website Enhanced

Videos of meetings now available on website

The Brick Township school district's website has been enhanced, and now allows users to download videos of Board of Education meetings from the Internet.

Board member Karyn Cusanelli, who chairs the board's public engagement committee, pushed for the videos to be placed online and announced at the Feb. 21 meeting that, from that meeting on, they would be available for download.

The videos can be downloaded at the board's meeting management site.

"We just ask the public to have some patience with this new endeavor, because glitches are possible with something new," said Cusanelli.

She also requested members of the community fill out an online comment form to report issues and give suggestions.

Cusanelli said Athletic Director Bill Bruno is also working on Twitter feeds that, in the future, may provide live scoring updates during high school sporting events.

The BOE meetings will continue to air on BTV 20, the township's cable access channel available on Comcast and Verizon FiOS.
