Brick Memorial Senior Signs Letter of Intent

Russell Clayton heading off to Assumption College

Brick Memorial High School senior Russell Clayton recently signed his letter of intent to attend and play football at Assumption College.

The sighing ceremony included  Dr. Richard Caldes (BMHS principal), Walt Currie (BMHS head football coach), Peter Clayton (father), Samantha Clayton (mother) and Steven VanPraag (grandfather).

The second-seeded Brick Memorial Mustangs (10-2) totaled 73 points in their 35-7 win over East Brunswick and their 38-0 win over North Brunswick in the first two rounds of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV state football playoffs in November 2010. The Mustangs fell 14-0 in the sectional final to Sayreville, however.
