Supervisor Files Suit Against Vicari, Claims Gender Discrimination and Harassment, Report Says

Lawsuit filed in Monmouth County, to avoid any potential bias

An Ocean County supervisor claims that longtime Ocean County Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari orchestrated a harassment and gender discrimination campaign that included a county consultant forcing a kiss on her and bragging repeatedly about his sexual escapades, according to a lawsuit, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

The employee, Rosemary Mennona, who is the general supervisor of building services for the county, and her husband, John, made the claims in the suit filed April 4 in state Superior Court in Monmouth County. The suit was not filed in Ocean County so it could avoid any bias, the suit claimed.

More info please. The article in APP is much more detailed. APP mentioned Joe Veni as the consultant. Is this the Joe Veni that is involved in the Manchester Twp. litigation. Or is is BTMUA Commisioner Joe Veni that was complicit in the bank scandal and firing of a director that is now suing the MUA?

"Rosemary Mennona, who is the general supervisor of building services for the county, and her husband, John, made the claims in the suit filed April 4 in state Superior Court" Are they claming that the freeholder also tryed to kiss john too?

Andy It's time to read the article, or is it that you didn't take your meds today and the words are moving around the page? Or are you setting yourself up for a law suit for defamation?

I read the article here and at APP. I made no statement of libel or slander. I asked questions, both related to previous articles involving a Joe Veni in Manchester and the Joe Veni of MUA in Brick. And I still do not know which, if either, is being referred to in this article. But thanks for your concern.
