New Year's Day will begin new terms for the Brick Township mayoral and council spots.
The Annual Reorganization Meeting of the Brick Township Council will take place on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the Municipal Courtroom. In addition to the reorganization of the Township Council, Mayor-elect John Ducey will take the oath of office as well as the swearing in of new Council members.
Ducey's running mates, Marianna Pontoriero, Paul Mummolo, and Heather deJong will be sworn in to their terms on the council.
Annual appointments and contracts are expected for the agenda, which has not yet been announced.
The next meeting of the Township Council is tomorrow, Dec. 17.
