There are no local primaries in Brick this year, and Ocean County's candidates' primary bids are all uncontested. However, the June 5 primary vote will have an impact for Republicans statewide.
There's a four-way race to represent the GOP in November against U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, a Democrat.
Among the candidates is solar energy company owner Joe Rullo, headquartered in Beachwood. Bader G. Qarmout of Newton and David-Douglas Brown of East Brunswick are also on the Republican ballot along with District 13 State Sen. Joe Kyrillos.
NJSpotlight.com's sample ballots allow users to explore by ZIP Code the primary races, showcasing candidate's responses and background.
