Brick Township Memorial Day Parade

Brick Township Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8867, American Legion Post #348 and the Township of Brick will host the Annual Brick Township Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30, 2011.  The Parade steps off from the former Foodtown parking lot on Route 70 at 10 am and follows Chambers Bridge Road to the Municipal Complex.  The Parade will be followed by a memorial ceremony at the Municipal Complex.

The Parade will have members of the township’s VFW, American Legion, the local fire companies, police, area sports organizations and civic organizations, military veterans, school marching bands, township officials and residents in participation.

To accommodate the Parade, Route 70 will be closed between the intersections of Brick Boulevard and Chambers Bridge Road from 9:45 am – 11 am.  Chambers Bridge Road North between Route 70 and the traffic light adjacent to the Municipal Complex will also be closed during that time period.
