Cedarwood Park Paving Project Approved

Roadway improvements are planned for the township's Cedarwood Park neighborhood.

The Brick Township council has awarded a contract to Earle Asphalt of Farmingdale to complete a portion of improvements to roads in the neighborhood that were initially called for under the 2011 road improvement program.

The contract was awarded to Earle, the lowest bidder on the project, in the amount of $199,513.13.

The Cedarwood Park improvements will cover Applegate Avenue, Victory Avenue as well as other streets.

Isn't that a picture of Lake Riveria's roads in your article?

Shouldn't the "Cherry Quay" section of Brick be considered for road paving...OR did the town government forget about it? Hopefully it will be considered SOON! for paving......impossible to drive through.

WOW - I'm so glad we found $200,000.00 to pave Cedarwood, but it would be nice if they finished the LAKE RIV. paving project since they JUST …. RAN OUT OF MONEY ….in the middle of it a short while ago !! The Georgia Dr. craters have swallowed at least a half dozen vehicles.

Were the folks driving those vehicles ever seen again?? Or did they plan it then leave town in a hurry???
