BTV Now Available on FiOS

Previously, township's TV station could only be seen on Comcast

Brick's municipal television station, BTV, can now be seen on the Verizon FiOS TV service on channels 32 and 33.

"We lobbied for BTV to be included in FiOS since Verizon initially began serving Brick Township's homes," said Mayor Stephen Acropolis in an e-mail. "It was important to us that those citizens have the same access to the information we put on BTV that other cable subscribers had and now they do. We are always striving for transparency."

Currently, BTV is showing on both channels 32 and 33.  The township plans on dedicating one channel to the news/event bulletin board and the other to programming, Acropolis said.
