Brick Sets Prices for Traders Cove Boat Slips
Brick Township officials have set prices for boat slips at the township-owned Traders Cove Marina.
The marina slips, Councilman Jim Fozman said, are priced lower than private full-service marinas since Traders Cove does not offer many services that those facilities do, such as a fuel dock and mechanics.
The prices are:
- Up to 20-feet: $65/foot
- Up to 25-feet: $75/foot
- Up to 30 feet: $90/foot
- Up to 35 feet: $110/foot
- Up to 40-feet: $120/foot
- Up to 50-feet: $130/foot
- Over 50-feet: $140/foot
- Bayfront slips: $75/foot
Ramp access will cost $10 (one way) for residents and $20 (one way) for nonresidents. Season passes for residents will be $150 for residents and $300 for nonresidents.
Boat slip fees and transient fees include fresh water and electricity; jet-ski slips include water only. The boating season, as defined by the ordinance, runs from April 15 to Oct. 15.
The per-foot fees bring the marina more in line with how most marinas price their slips.
