Brick Mayor to Host Another 'Mayor In' Night Tuesday

Brick Mayor John Ducey will host another "Mayor In" night on Tuesday.

Citizens will have the opportunity to meet Ducey, who took office in January, and discuss township matters at the session, which will be held at town hall.

Members of the township council as well as department and division heads from the township will also be on hand to provide assistance to citizens. The event is open to all residents of Brick Township.

Ducey said he will be hosting Mayor In and Mayor Out nights around the town throughout the year, part of an effort to make "government accessibility" a key platform of his administration. The Mayor In nights will take place at town hall; the Mayor Out nights will be held at various locations in town.

Tuesday's event will take place at 6 p.m. at the township municipal complex on Chambers Bridge Road.

Big deal...More than half of the hard working TAX payer's aren't even home yet at 6 or 7 PM and many are on there way to their second job to support their family and ridiculous taxes that keep going up each year. How many of you wait for your significant other to come home from an 8 to 10 hour day only to see your spouse leave for their job while you now watch the children and take care of them. So much for the AMERICAN DREAM People...Thank our Great Politicians for screwing that up...BIG TIME. Spending our hard earned money and foolishly wasting it. If this Mayor is for the people and claims he wants to help Brick and have his council and staff and division heads meet the citizens of Brick. Then why not schedule these meet and greets maybe at 7PM or 8PM or even better. How about a Saturday when 80 to90% of the citizens can most likely make it. One more thing. I can't wait to see what next years Property taxes go up to. Gee... let's blame it on the snow removal for this year. Because we can't blame it on the previous year, We barely had any snow or icing...What happen to that extra chunk of money that was in the Township budget. And that 2% tax cap that was voted out by many Brick idiots. It was all a scare tactic they used against many of us especially the Senior Citizens that were in panic mode over this. Township municipality used this against us. They said our Taxes would go up even more. If we lost our garbage and recycling we would have to pay for our own privatize pick up. What a joke. You voted out the TAX cap and our Taxes still increased when they said they wouldn't. Let's see what happens with this Mayor and council.. We are screwed.
