Van Driver Killed in Route 70 Crash

Calvin Cossaboon Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A Cape May Court House man was killed in a crash on Route 70 when his van crossed the center line and slammed into two cars, one head-on, police said.

Calvin Cossaboon Jr., 50, was headed east near Manchester Boulevard around 1 p.m. Wednesday when his Dodge Caravan crossed into the westbound lanes, Manchester police said, bounced off the side of a Dodge Grand Caravan and slammed head-on into a Ford Taurus, both of which were headed in the opposite direction.

The force of the crash left both the van and Taurus with almost completely obliterated front ends, and spun the Taurus into the shoulder of the road.
