On December 12, two individuals were stabbed in a dispute in a Bernard Cooke Park, Brick Police said.
In the Cooke Park incident, police were called to Ocean Medical Center after two men sought treatment for multiple stab wounds, said Brick Sgt. Henry Drew.
"One of the victims had stab wounds to his upper left thigh, and his right bicep. The other victim suffered stab wounds to his chest," Drew said in a prepared release. "The victims reported that they had been stabbed during an altercation at Bernard J. Cooke Park which is located on Burnt Tavern Road in Brick."
Police units were dispatched to the park to investigate but the suspect had already fled, Drew said.
