A slow speed pursuit on Hooper Avenue in Brick ended just after 5 p.m. Friday, police said.
According to Capt. John Rein, there were few details available as the incident had just occurred, but after the car eventually stopped, it was determined that the driver was experiencing a medical emergency.
EMS and paramedics responded to the scene and were taking the driver to a hospital, Rein said.
