Sheriff's Office Arrests 6 Brick Residents in March

Charges include non-payment of child support, failure to appear, being a fugitive from justice

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office arrested 116 people in March, 44 of whom on charges of non-payment of child support.

The Sheriff's officers arrested the following Brick residents last month:  

March 5: James Wesley, 47, of Northrup Drive was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives S. Moore and J. Mercado on a Superior Court warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $19,682.06. Wesley was processed and lodged in Ocean County Jail pending first appearance.

March 13: Angel L. Melendez, 39, of  Alexander Road was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives C. Gentile and M. Groesch on a Superior Court warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $2,428.22. Melendez was processed and paid a partial purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department, and subsequently released.

March 20: William Vincelli, 23, of Simon Place was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives H. Foltz and S. Moore on a Superior Court warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial interview on original charges of receiving stolen property. Vincelli was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

March 20: Keren O’Brian, 44, of Burrsville Road was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives H. Foltz and S. Moore on a Superior Court warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $8,273.83. O’Brian was processed and released after paying a reduced purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department.

March 27: Arnaldo Lopez, 24, of Marilyn Drive was charged by Sheriff’s Detective C. Vazquez with being a fugitive from justice from Union County, Pa., where he faces charges of driving under the influence. Lopez was lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending extradition back to Pennsylvania.

March 27: Samuel Patriaco, 22, of Primrose Lane was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives H. Foltz and S. Moore on a Superior Court warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Patriaco was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.
