A series of images captured by Patch readers at the scene of one of the most devastating fires in the Shore's history.
The iconic bars, game rooms and amusement rides are now mere charred planks and rock.
Now the lasting images of this end of Seaside Heights will no longer be a carousel carrying children clutching the horns of unicorns and ponies so tightly.
They won't be the raised arms of kids, and their parents, barreling down a Log Flume that douses them them with water after a 90-degree dive.
It'll be firefighters struggling to find water as they dodged bursts of orange flames and thick, black smoke billowing through ice cream stands and arcades.
Patch readers were there to capture the images of this tragic day, another devastating blow to a town that never truly recovered from the blows laid upon it by Hurricane Sandy.
