Brick Residents Indicted on Drug Charges

Grand juries also return indictments on forgery, theft by deception charges

Two Brick residents were indicted last week on drug charges stemming from separate arrests in the township.

Linda Leo of East Esplanade was arrested twice in late 2010 on charges of possessing and distributing oxycodone.

Authorities charged Leo on Sept. 21 and Nov. 3, and an Ocean County grand jury indicted her on two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

Leo was initially jailed on $35,000 bail but released on July 7. 

A grand jury also indicted a Marilyn Drive man on several drug charges in connection with a May 16 arrest.

James A. Angermeier was charged with two counts of possession for allegedly having suboxone and alprazolam without a valid prescription, the indictment states.

Angermeier was released on a summons.

Grand juries also indicted: 

  • Carlos D. Emiliano of the Bronx, NY, on an attempted theft by deception charge for allegedly impersonating another man while trying to withdraw funds from  on Oct. 29, 2010.Emiliano was initially jailed on $25,000 bail, no 10 percent option, but posted on Nov. 6.
  • Jeffrey K. Louissaint of Lakewood on forgery and theft by deception charges. Authorities claim Louissaint tried to First Atlantic Credit Union debit cards in others' names on two occassions April 11, at Walmart and Wawa. He was charged with two counts of forgery and one count of theft by deception, all third-degree crimes.
