Prosecutor, Brick Police Investigating 'Unattended Death' on Route 88

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and the Brick Police are investigating an "unattended death" which occurred Saturday morning at one of the Tip Top Cabins on Route 88 in Brick.

Ocean County Assistant Prosecutor Michel Paulhus said the the body was located at 2214 Route 88.

Paulhus said the investigation into the death is in the "preliminary stages" and that an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

On Sunday morning, yellow police tape was still up in front of the cabin where the death apparently occurred and one police vehicle was still stationed outside.
