Point Beach Police Ask Public to I.D. Two in Surveillance Photo

Cops identify persons of interest in ongoing investigation of theft of credit cards from unlocked car

Point Beach police are asking the public to help identify a man and a woman photographed by a surveillance camera at on the southwest corner of Richmond Avenue and Manetta Drive.

The police are looking for the pair in connection with an ongoing burglary investigation.

On Wednesday afternoon, police released "a surveillance photo of two suspects that we're looking for the public’s assistance in identifying," said Detective Pat Petruzziello in a prepared statement.

On Sept. 13, officers responded to a residence on New York Avenue in Point Beach, where a victim reported that, sometime during the overnight hours of Sept. 6 and 7, his unlocked vehicle was entered and his wallet was stolen.

On Sept. 13, he reported the suspects used his stolen credit card at a couple of locations in the area, one of which was the Walgreen's near the Woodhaven Lumber Yard, Petruzziello said.
