Update: Motorcycle Crash Occurs at Route 70, Chambers Bridge Road Intersection

One injury confirmed

A motorcycle apparently hit two cars at the intersection of Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Road in the township just after 2 p.m. Saturday.

The three vehicles were approaching the intersection heading westbound on Route 70 when traffic stopped for an ambulance that was going through the intersection, according to Brick Township police.

The traffic stopped, but the motorcyclist did not stop in time, police said.

“We believe that the rider was alert and conscious upon unit response to the scene, and he was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune”, said Patrolman Frank Mauro.

Brick Police added that there were no serious injuries in the crash. The subject complained of shoulder pain in the accident.
