Late Night Accident Sends One to Hospital

Parkway crash results in one motorist being sent to Neptune hospital

A car accident involving two motorists late last night on the Garden State Parkway has sent one of them to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, according to authorities.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., a black BMW being driven by Geraldine Hennicke was involved in a collision with a bronze Chevrolet being driven by Omar Randolph, on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 91.5, said Sgt. Brian Polite, a public information officer for the New Jersey State Police.

“At that time, the vehicle being driven by Ms. Hennicke went to the left shoulder of the road, and no injuries were sustained by her, or her two passengers, Bridget Hennicke and Miranda Malaguias,” Polite explained.

After the collision, the vehicle being driven by Randolph veered sharply past the right shoulder and down a wooded embankment, according to Polite. At that moment, Randolph was ejected from his vehicle.

“Toms River EMS responded to the scene and again, found no injuries to those in the BMW. They found Mr. Randolph breathing but unconscious, and with external injuries. He was then transported by the EMS to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune,” said Polite.
